CITY TOURS
The ICSMC offers a city tour for the participant on 2nd September 2018. The tours are available in two packages:
Package 1: Prambanan temple, Kraton Yogyakarta, and Kareta Museum.
The participants will enjoy the scenery of the 9th-century Hindu temple which dedicated to the Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva) and Kraton Yogyakarta or often referred to Ngayogyakarta Palace is in the heart of the province of Yogyakarta, which when taken straight line between Mount Merapi and the South Sea, the palace became the center of both. Kraton Kraton Yogyakarta is the last kingdom of all the kingdoms that had triumphed in the land of Java.
Package 2: Borobudur Temple and Diponegoro Museum.
Borobudur Temple is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia, and the world's largest Buddhist temple. The participants will enjoy the complex consists of a museum and a monument which commemorates the struggle of Prince Diponegoro, an 18th-century Javanese prince and a National Hero.
The tour includes a tourist guide, lunch at local restaurant and all entrance fees. For the participants who are interested, please fill the city tour register form or contact the committee through icsmc@uny.ac.id no later than 22 August 2018
The city tour fee is not included in the conference registration fee.
